Sahara Cafe

We've heard of Halal pizza that's inexpensive and tasted really good at Sydney Rd, but haven't came around to try it... until last week. We decided to have dinner at Sahara Cafe on our way to the airport to send my friends. And pizza was on the menu!

So here's some traces of our visit to Sahara.



It's located at 627 Sydney Rd, Brunswick, near to Istanbul Halal Meat.

This one is a large family size pizza priced at AUD 17. It's a supreme so we got all the lots! Huge slices... enough to feed 4 adults.





They have cakes, desserts n coffee too.


So next time you're around Sydney Rd, and thinking of pizza, remember Sahara.

Wind Surfing @ St. Kilda Beach

If you're looking for something to do on a weekend evening but don't want to go too far out from the city, take your family to St. Kilda Beach and enjoy the sights of wind-surfers and their colourful chutes. They look like jellyfish floating in the air, don't they? ;)

Sport Brands Factory Outlet @ Smith St

If shopping for well-known global sports brands is your forte, then you should go to the factory outlet at Smith St, before visiting any other DFOs. Smith St is not the typical all-in-one complex of factory outlet. It's a street filled with factory outlet of sporting good such as Nike, Adidas, Timberland, Converse, Kathmandu and few more others. There's not a lot of shops, but we're pretty sure that you're still going to take a bit of times to browse through items on sales even inside one or two shops like Nike and Adidas.

If you're from the city, you can take Tram route 86 from Bourke St towards Bundoora, to stop at Smith St, stop no 16-22.

Oz Doner & Chicken Kebab @ Flemington

If you're looking for a place to have supper for those hungry nights, then the Oz Doner & Chicken Kebab is one of the convenient places to get Halal food late at night. They open from 6pm in the evening until very late to until 3 am in the morning.
